Nine months after joining the SportsMindest family, I have changed the way I approach the every day challenge of being a professional basketball player. I now attack each day with a maximum desire to compete and be competitive and the WILL to do better in many aspects of my game. I’ve made some adjustments to my diet and lifestyle, and SMS as taught me a lot of that.
With that being said, I have no words but THANK YOU. To my trainer Aja, thank you for all your amazing planning and tips that are helping me to grow as a basketball player. It’s totally worth it!

SMS ran an agility session for our Junior Basketball Club in June 2014. The group comprised approximately 45 juniors ranging in age from 5 years to 17 years of age. The SMS trainers tailored the session to cater for all capabilities and delivered it in a professional and fun way. The trainers’ enthusiastic teaching style meant that the juniors were engaged from start to end through a series of different drills, exercises, games and challenges.

The girls from SMS obviously love working with juniors and challenging them to achieve. The session received overwhelmingly positive comments from participants, their parents and coaches. I would highly recommend the SMS team to a club or individual interested in improving in their particular sport. Agility and athletic training applied to any sport develops character and work ethic along with the physical skills needed to enjoy and excel.

Aja thank you for all your energy and enthusiasm when working with the staff and kids. (And thanks for staying up till midnight to watch the community basketball finals in Gapuwiyak!) I know we really put you to work this past week so thanks for just going with the flow.

Thank you SportsMindset! I’ve always struggled to maintain a healthy weight in my off-season through lack of motivation and not having a solid program to stick to. You gave me all the tools I needed to keep my fitness and weight where it should be and actually put me in better condition than I have been for years.

The fitness component suited my schedule, and the gradual increases in the weekly program meant I saw the results that kept me on task! Needless to say my coach was more than impressed when I turned up for preseason and my body appreciated the hard work I’d put in. The modifications you made to enable me to stay on the program during the season has been great and I believe easily accounts for why I’ve remained injury free.
